Sempreverde Atelier

In Grecia casa veniva chiamata Oikos, nell’antica Roma Domus. Uchi, in giapponese, indica la sede degli affetti più autentici. Per lo scrittore peruviano Sergio Bambarèn casa è il posto per sognare, il luogo da cui ammirare il cambiamento delle stagioni e provare gioia per il resto della vita. Freud paragona la casa al ventre materno, dove ci si sente protetti e al sicuro dalle insidie dell’esistenza. 

Laddove, nell’abbacinante luce del Sud,  la Terra si concede al Mare, sorge Sempreverde, un concetto controcorrente dell’abitare, una casa innovativa ed ecologica. 

Punta Secca, chiamata dagli abitanti “A sicca”, è una frazione del Comune di Santa Croce Camerina, in provincia di Ragusa, popolata, durante l’inverno, da 519 anime.  Il piccolo borgo marinaro, in corrispondenza dell’estate, cresce a dismisura  fino a trasformarsi  in un’amena località turistica, meta prediletta  di viaggiatori provenienti da ogni parte del mondo, senza tuttavia,  smarrire quel tratto identitario che da tempo immemore lo contraddistingue.

A ciò ha contribuito, senza ombra di dubbio, il personaggio televisivo tratto dalla geniale penna dell’indimenticabile scrittore agrigentino Andrea Camilleri. 

Al pari di una barca che sfrutta il vento a favore, il fenomeno Montalbano  attraversando gli anni e i continenti, ha fatto sì che le vele del dimenticato Sudest siciliano  procedessero speditamente e nella direzione giusta.

A Punta Secca, per soddisfare la domanda  crescente  e massiccia di  servizi ricettivi,  sono sorti bar, ristoranti, case vacanza e svariati bed & breakfast. 

Tra questi ultimi, in sintonia con la vocazione intima dell’agglomerato urbano, spicca  l’Atelier Sempreverde per fascino, originalità e calorosa accoglienza. Una casa green dove l’incontro tra la paglia e il sughero ha generato un nido accogliente e vibrante di energia positiva. 

Sempreverde nasce dalla lungimirante idea della proprietaria Licia Perna che, al termine del suo corso di laurea,  discute una tesi  ispirata al sistema della permacultura progettando un contenitore abitativo sostenibile e in piena sintonia con le risorse del territorio. 

Sempreverde come felice sintesi di pensiero, rispetto, legami.

La solida struttura in legno, le pareti in paglia e il rivestimento in sughero tracciano un nuovo modo di sperimentare la casa, una casa viva, partecipe, avvolgente ed emotivamente presente. 

Se ne avverte il respiro già dal momento in cui si mette piede nell’area living. I colori irregolari della terra cruda sono un rimando ancestrale, ci riconnettono  alle origini, al nostro io primordiale. 

Le camere sono spaziose e luminose, dotate di ogni confort, ognuna di esse possiede un tema diverso, accomunate da una ricerca tesa alla piacevolezza del vivere, al richiamo costante alla sacralità di Madre Natura. 

La  terrazza  guarda al  tramonto,  abbraccia i colori del cielo e si fonde con esso.

Una casa che racchiude l’amore di chi l’ha concepita e il senso di benessere che traspare dal volto di chi ha scelto di trascorrervi anche solo qualche giorno di relax.

In fase di costruzione dell’edificio si è assistito a una vera e propria operazione sociale grazie al coinvolgimento di maestranze locali e volontari che hanno collaborato alla messa in opera dei vari elementi mediante l’impiego di materiali a Km 0.

Tutto questo ha conferito a Sempreverde un’aura suggestiva, una bellezza che mira dritta all’essere, superando il significato dell’apparire e della vuota esteriorità.

Where, in the dazzling light of the South, the Earth gives itself over to the Sea, stands Sempreverde, a counter-current concept of living, an innovative and ecological house.

Punta Secca, called “A sicca” by the inhabitants, is a fraction of the municipality of Santa Croce Camerina, in the province of Ragusa, populated, during the winter, by 519 souls which, in the summer, grows dramatically until it transforms the small seaside village in a pleasant tourist resort, a favorite destination for travelers from all over the world, without however losing that identity trait that has distinguished it since immemorial time.

The television character drawn from the brilliant pen of the unforgettable Agrigento writer Andrea Camilleri contributed to this, without a shadow of a doubt.

Like a boat that takes advantage of the favorable wind, the Montalbano phenomenon, crossing the years and continents, has ensured that the sails of the forgotten Sicilian south-east proceed quickly and in the right direction.

In Punta Secca, to satisfy the growing and massive demand for accommodation services, bars, restaurants, holiday homes and various bed & breakfasts have sprung up.

Among the latter, in harmony with the intimate vocation of the urban agglomeration, the Atelier Sempreverde stands out for its charm, originality and warm welcome. A green house where the encounter between straw and cork has generated a welcoming and vibrant nest of positive energy.

Sempreverde was born from the far-sighted idea of ​​the owner Licia Perna who, at the end of her degree course, discussed a thesis inspired by the permaculture system, designing a sustainable housing container in full harmony with the resources of the territory.

Evergreen as a happy synthesis of thought, respect, bonds.

The solid wooden structure, the straw walls and the cork cladding trace a new way of experiencing the house, a living, participatory, enveloping and emotionally present house.

You can feel the breath from the moment you set foot in the living area. The irregular colors of the raw earth are an ancestral reference, they reconnect us with our origins, with our primordial self. The rooms are spacious and bright, equipped with every comfort, each of them has a different theme, united by a search aimed at the pleasure of living, the constant reminder of the sacredness of Mother Nature.

The terrace looks at the sunset, embraces the colors of the sky and merges with it.

A house that embodies the love of those who conceived it and the sense of well-being that shines through on the faces of those who have chosen to spend even just a few days of relaxation there.

During the construction phase of the building there was a real social operation thanks to the involvement of local workers and volunteers who collaborated in the implementation of the various elements through the use of 0 km materials.

All this has given Sempreverde an evocative aura, a beauty that aims straight at being, overcoming the meaning of appearance and empty exteriority.
